Getting started
Can I see the beat over another app?
Yes. Enable the floating overlay and grant Android's permission to display over other apps. You can then see the visual beat while using another app. This describes the current Android version.
Can I use SyncPulse to practise on my own?
Absolutely. Use the metronome, subdivisions, accents and tempo trainer for individual practice. You do not need to join a band session.
Do I need an account?
No account is required to use the current Android app. Future purchase arrangements have not yet been announced.
Where can I get help or share feedback?
Start with the in-app instructions or the website help page. For a question or feedback, contact Dion using the contact link below. Include your Android version and the steps you were trying.
Playing together
Do we need Wi-Fi to sync the band?
No. SyncPulse supports band sync over a shared Wi-Fi network or Bluetooth LE. Bluetooth LE allows band sync without Wi-Fi. Check device compatibility and permissions before your rehearsal.
What is shared with the band?
Tempo, time signature, setlist position and section changes. Followers can view the leader's setlist and synced text chord sheets. Band sync does not distribute backing-track audio or attached PDF and image files.
Your music & equipment
Can I use my own chord sheets or sheet music?
Yes. Add text chord sheets in ChordPro style, PDFs or images. Text chords can be transposed; a PDF or photograph remains the document you attached.
Can I import a setlist I already have?
Yes. SyncPulse supports CSV and Excel setlist import and export. You can map spreadsheet columns during import. Check the imported song order, tempos and sections before playing.
Can I use a footswitch or MIDI equipment?
The Android app supports configurable footswitch actions and MIDI clock output over USB or BLE MIDI. Compatibility depends on your controller, connection and receiving equipment; test your setup before a performance.
Pricing & platforms
Is SyncPulse free?

When will SyncPulse Pro launch, and what will it cost?
SyncPulse Pro is expected towards the end of 2026. The exact launch date, price, payment model and free/Pro feature split have not yet been announced.
